Our skin is our largest organ and is capable of absorbing good things and bad ones too.  We need to approach our skin care products with the same commitment to healthy living as we do the food we eat and the cleaning products we use (covered in another class!)

In choosing healthy skin care products, do we also have to settle for ones that are inferior or don't do a great job?

Umm, no.

Remember, nature usually has all the answers if we will just ask the right questions :)

Some of my favorite products are in the skin care line from Young Living.  They work, they are safe and you can feel GOOD about using them.  This class is going to be a bit different in that the graphics are going to do most of the teaching.  They pretty much say it all.  One thing I DO want to remind you of is the myriad of chemicals found in the majority of skin care and cosmetics lines on the market today so you will understand WHY it is important to avoid them.

Let's start with a suggested routine for NORMAL skin.  Each of the products will be introduced in due time.  

Patience is a virtue.

OILY skin would benefit from this routine:

This routine is for MATURE skin.  I think they might be talking about me.  I'm mature.

SENSITIVE skin needs pampering but if you notice, when products don't have irritating chemicals, you don't have to change too much!

OK, here is where I get to tell you this is one of my favorite products to wash my face.  Gentle, non-drying, leaves my face feeling soft.  I never run out of this one and may I also say, it seems to last quite a while.  It's foaming and two little pumps in my hands is enough.

I love the scent of this cleanser.  Does a super job.  My last bottle accidentally got turned upside down in my tub basket of bath products and the lid was open.

You don't want to see a grown woman cry.

Currently using this toner also.  A little bit goes a long way on either a cotton ball or cotton round makeup remover pad.

I have this product also.  Wow, it leaves your skin feeling awake!

I compared a few moisturizers for several weeks.  This one keeps winning, hands down.

Rose ointment contains real rose essential oil, one of the most expensive but soothing oils you can find.
