Business Builders

So you want to build a Young Living business…

But you aren’t really sure how to get started.

Let’s start with some basics

The most common question beginners have is "How do I sign someone up under me?

hands-raised-in-classroom

First, have them go to http://youngliving.com

(or take them there if they are with you).

Log out if using your computer.  Then the "Become a Member" option will be evident.

Click on this link.

This page will open next.

They will have the option of becoming a WHOLESALE member or a RETAIL customer.

If you are placing them directly under you in your organization,
make sure they choose “I was referred....” option and put YOUR member # as the Sponsor and the Enroller

I bet you just asked yourself, "What does enroller and sponsor mean, exactly?”

Some people, when building their organization, like to strategically "place" others in different "legs" for short and long term benefits.

When considering this aspect, if you have questions, please talk to your upline about how to best manage your organization.

The next page will be where they will choose which starter kit to purchase.  Explain that there are several kits and several options for diffusers also.  Help them get what they want and explain the price differences (should be listed by each kit).

This page may also ask if they want to participate in Essential Rewards, which I hope you have explained to them already, but let them know that it is OPTIONAL and not required and that they can sign up any time later if they choose to.

The final page typically has a summary of all their information and total charges.  If you ever have a VOUCHER to share with someone (usually earned through Essential Rewards) they will enter the voucher on this page.

That should answer your questions about adding a new member. Now let's talk a bit about navigating through your Virtual Office.

In Virtual Office, under the "Member Resources" there is a link at the bottom to "Virtual Office Training

There are multiple short videos there to walk you through everything you need to navigate through your Virtual Office :)

Legs go down.

You want to start by building at least TWO good solid legs in order to get to Executive Rank.  But you want to build across also because you have to think ahead.  You will understand more about that later on.

Levels go ACROSS

(All of the pink circles are Level 1, the Blue are Level 2 and so on)

The people you introduce to Young Living and sign up directly under YOU will always be on your LEVEL ONE.As THEY introduce others to Young Living and new people sign up under them, they will become your LEVEL TWOs and so on.

So how much OGV does this person have (combination of your own PV or Personal Volume AND all of the volume in your organization)

Looks like 1700 OGV for this organization!

Here is also some more casual Young Living 'Lingo' you will probably encounter among members and in groups:

Every business builder SHOULD be on Essential Rewards!
You will miss out on income if you are not participating,
plus how can you encourage others to participate if YOU don't participate?

You are going to kick yourself that you didn't sign up SOONER!

Business-Builders.020-1024x768

You can see how important it can be to your paycheck to participate in Essential Rewards!

One of the first MAJOR goals is to make Executive!

Then Silver…..

Confused?  I think it will become clearer after the video.

Another really GOOD site with explanations of the compensation plan from beginning to end is OhMyOils!

Be sure and click on the Compensation Videos link and start watching!

Young Living wants you to know the 'average' income for different business ranks.
As you can see in the beginning if you really want to build your business,
it requires working it LIKE A REAL JOB!

I mean, if you intend to move up and receive THIS KIND OF INCOME, you can not treat this like a hobby!

So much is available to you in Virtual Office under the “Member Resources” section.  Let’s click on “Product Education

Notice the center section under Presentations?  These are ready to use PowerPoint classes for you to use to teach classes.  The Introduction to Young Living is used the most and is, of course, compliant.

So much available for you to use for your business.  Letterhead, booklets, Facebook banners and information about apps, official logos, etc.

Staying compliant as Young Living members is critical to our livelihood and the future of our company.  Young Living has LOTS of information to help you know what we ARE allowed to say and what we are NOT allowed to say.

I don't think I can stress the "Teach classes" enough.
Offer them in any form that people can attend.  LIVE classes where people get to experience the oils are ALWAYS best!
